The Brooklyn Children's Museum in Crown Heights is hosting its annual "Superhero Weekend" this week.
Organizers say they use the superhero theme to educate children in arts and sciences.
"It's a great opportunity for kids to use their imagination to think about the abilities that they want to develop in themselves and the different roles," says museum staff member Kinneret Kohn. "How they can help the community around them."
Superhero events will run at the museum through Sunday evening.
