Justin Hamilton of the Brooklyn Nets visited St. John’s Bread and Life Thursday to serve meals to low-income and homeless adults. Tony Butler, an employee at St. John’s, tells News 12 that his team serves approximately 2,600 meals a day. Hamilton’s visit was sponsored by the Charity Stripe initiative, a partnership between the Nets and Key Food, in which Key Food committed to making food donations for every free throw made by Nets players this past year. ...
