Brooklyn residents flocked to the 41st annual Festa di Santa Rosalia for Italian food, carnival rides and games.
The festival will be taking up several blocks of 18th Avenue for 10 days and honors the patron saint of Palermo, Sicily.
This year, Saint Rosalia's statue has been given a new paint job and restored thanks to a parishioner donation.
The feast runs on weeknights between 6:00 p.m. and 10:00 p.m. and starts around 11:00 a.m. on the weekends.
The grand finale on August 28th will feature a big procession and a Mass at Saint Dominic's Roman Catholic Church
