Sandwiched between Black Friday and Cyber Monday is Small Business Saturday, the American Express-created day that seeks to usher holiday shoppers onto Main Streets across the country.
According to Forbes, local and independent businesses raked in $14.3 billion last year on Small Business Saturday.
The owner of Annie's Blue Ribbon General Store says Brooklyn residents are known to shop locally.
