As the unofficial end to summer approaches, many Brooklyn residents will be taking to the roads for a getaway.American Automobile Association (AAA) officials are warning motorists to be careful while driving this rainy Labor Day weekend. They say Brooklyn commuters should drive slowly and check traffic alerts before leaving the house. They also advise drivers to check tire pressure and oil. Even with the higher than average fuel costs, Brooklyn residents say they are still willing to travel. AAA officials say the good news is gasoline prices have moderated since the start of summer.
