The Brooklyn Latin School, which has an extremely high graduation rate, is celebrating its sixth annual Founder's Day.
The school boatss a 95 percent graduation rate.
Launched in 2006 through an initiative by Mayor Michael Bloomberg, the school aims at offering "a private school education in a public school setting."
Most of the 450 students are minorities from low-income backgrounds.
The school is located on the border of Bushwick and Williamsburg.
