BK shops campaign for unity and peace

Business owners along Myrtle Avenue in Brooklyn are displaying their support for unity and peace by creating safe places to shop.
Store owners have placed a sticker inside their storefront window that reads "Hate has no business here."
It's a campaign many business owners say they came up with after experiencing an uptick of hateful and negative messages on social media.
At least 75 percent of the shops along the avenue are owned by women and minorities.
The Myrtle Avenue partnership says they would love for their customers to feel safe and comfortable at their businesses.
They say they wish more businesses would adopt their idea.
