Brooklyn straphangers who use the L line may soon know when the next train is arriving.
According to the Daily News, electronic message boards will be installed on subway platforms. The boards will inform riders of delays and when the next train will arrive. The Transit Authority says the technology is similar to the systems in London, Paris and Washington.
The message boards are expected to be up and running on L line platforms over the summer. The new boards are part of a $160 million project to improve subway stations.
