Many students and parents are upset about plans to move the Urban Assembly School for Collaborative Health Care to a new location.
They are worried that a relocation from the Cypress Hills location to the campus of Boys and Girls High School in Bedford-Stuyvesant will be damaging.
Students and parents say it'll double commutes and limit opportunities. They also say that the Boys and Girls High School has a reputation for being dangerous.
The school specializes in health care, and with that reputation, students say they are worried how they will get into a good college.
School officials say a relocation could be as soon as next year.
The Department of Education has not yet replied to News 12's request for comment.
