As the case against the man voted the worst landlord in the city winds down Friday, tenants are protesting the poor conditions at their 188 S. 3rd St. apartments.

Tenants testified during the 14-day trial about the problems they have had with their landlord Adam Mermelstein. They claim the conditions at their building are putting their health at risk. The lawyer for the tenants says Mermelstein needs to improve his relationship with them.

Mermelstein made his case in court Friday. There's no word yet on when the judge will make a ruling.
