BK woman who lived to be 116 honored with street renaming

An East New York street is now renamed in honor of a woman who was once the world's oldest person.
The corner of Lousiana and Vandalia avenues now bears the name of Susannah Mushatt, who live in Brooklyn until her death two years ago.
Affectionately known as Miss Suzie, Mushatt spent the last 30 years of her life at the Vandalia Senior Center.
Mushatt lived to be 116 years and 311 days old. She died in May 2016.
