The city's Parks Department is celebrating Black History Month by revealing Brooklyn's connection to the Underground Railroad through a new tour.
The Urban Park Rangers are leading a tour throughout Brooklyn Heights where southern slaves headed to for freedom.
Plymouth Church and Juneteenth Grove are just two of the stops on the tour. The Rangers are also reading firsthand accounts of enslaved people from that time.
