Medical assistant students from the Allen School rolled up their sleeves to donate blood at Borough Hall Wednesday.
The group of 100 students, affectionately nicknamed the "Blue Angels" for their uniforms, gave blood at New York Blood Center mobile units. The students said donating and turning the streets of downtown Brooklyn into a sea of blue sets an example that they hope others will follow."I know it's gonna help five lives. . .one point," said student Sherman McClellan.
