Borough President Adams seeks investigation into fatal construction accident
Borough President Eric Adams is calling for a city investigation and possible legal action after last Wednesday's fatal construction accident.
The incident happened last Wednesday when a large piece of metal framed wall fell on a 44-year-old laborer, Over Paredes, and killed him.
At the time, Paredes were working on the roof of a construction site at 854 Myrtle Avenue.
Civil rights attorney Norman Siegel and the victim's family are expected to join Adams as they details their concerns about the work site and the subcontractor that employed Paredes.
