Brooklyn Borough President Eric Adams announced Tuesday that Brooklyn is the place to be for New Year's Eve.
Coney Island will be the host to the second annual New Year's Eve celebration, with local officials expecting 10,000 people to come to the boardwalk.
The celebration begins at 9 p.m. and includes free rides on the Wonderwheel, the Parachute Jump and fireworks at the Grand Army Plaza.
If the weather holds up, Deno's Wonder Wheel will be open on New Year's Eve and New Year's Day.
There will also be events in Prospeck Park starting at 11 p.m.
