Brooklyn Borough President Eric Adams hosted a community conversation Monday in front of the Flatbush deli where a white woman falsely accused a young black boy of touching her buttocks.

Outside the Sahara Deli Market on Albemarle Road, community members spoke about diversity and respect.

Last Wednesday, Theresa Klein, now nicknamed "Cornerstore Caroline," falsely accused 9-year-old Jeremiah of groping her.

Video of the incident went viral, as did Klein's reaction to watching surveillance footage of it Friday. That video showed the boy's backpack simply brushing against her back; there was no physical contact.

Some have called the incident a modern-day Emmett Till moment, referencing the 14-year-old boy who was lynched in Mississippi in 1955 after being accused of offending a white woman in her family's grocery store.

Adams says he's working with the district attorney's office to open an investigation into the incident.
