Brooklyn Borough President Antonio Reynoso held a Latino Heritage Month celebration on Wednesday at Brooklyn Borough Hall.
The evening had plenty of festivities, including Peruvian dance performances, music from artists Chico Alvarez and Mafima, and delicious food from Bogota Latin Bistro in Park Slope.
At the event, Reynoso announced that the borough president's office will be diverting some of its resources and funding towards aiding New Yorkers and relieving the growing pressures that many city services are facing.
From here on out, all events hosted by the Brooklyn Borough President's office will be outreach community events geared towards giving back to serve Brooklyn residents.
