The Boys and Girls Club of Mount Vernon is getting set to hold their first in-person gala in three years.
The Annual Fall Benefit is happening at the Surf Club in New Rochelle next Thursday, Oct. 20.
The event will honor former Club Counselor and Executive Director Billy Thomas and former NBA star and Club Executive Director Lowes Moore. "We're also honoring our 2022/23 Youth of the Year - Jenae Brown. She is an up-and-coming young woman, a junior at the Denzel Washington School of the Arts, a club member for two years, and just a tremendous volunteer role model to her peers," says Mel Campos, CEO Boys & Girls Club of Mount Vernon.
The club was also just selected as the 2022 "National Award" winner for Teen Outreach out of 4,000 clubs across the world!
