"Helping to bring money into the city is a great thing, especially during these tough economic times," said Eric Bryson, who owns Miss Thelma's Restaurant on Fairfield Avenue.

"Bridgeport has any amazingly diverse array of restaurants and that's what we're highlighting here," Chandersingh said.
Mayor Joe Ganim said Restaurant Week is "an economic boon" for the city.
"It's s a great tradition and we're excited to see our amazing local restaurants taking part in an effort that offers something for everyone. It's the ultimate win-win," said Ganim.
