Panic buttons and cameras were installed at 80 delis in the Bronx about two months ago to help improve safety, and on Friday, News 12 checked in with one of them to see if the devices have helped.
Bodega owner Francisco Marte says he's been shot three times at work but now he's seeing change.
He told News 12 that workers at Iron Grill in Melrose feel more comfortable recently because of the panic buttons and cameras.
However, there's now a new scheme involving people placing orders over the phone.
