Local entrepreneurs held a vision party celebration at Clinton Hall in the Belmont section of the Bronx on Sunday to highlight professional and personal goals they strive to achieve in 2024.
"I want to bring the community out to curate these boards on paper what we see for ourselves in the new year, hopefully they will come true like they came true for me," said Shekenah Campbell who is the founder of Ours NYC, a local clothing brand developed in 2016.
"I curated a platform and rented out spaces, and opened it up from smaller businesses from candles, clothing, and businesses. Since then, I created my own clothing line because my community inspired me." Campbell said to about a dozen aspiring entrepreneurs.
Several Bronx residents at the event took time to educate potential customers about their products.
"Being at a vision event, and to talk about what you want feels like so much magic." said Yomairi Adrian, founder of Blooming Soul, a business focused on wellness.
Every two months, Campbell organizes in-person networking events with up-and-coming Bronx businesses, with the goal to spread growth, knowledge, and prosperity.
