One person was killed in a motor vehicle collision in Orange County.
State police say the crash happened after midnight Saturday at the Long Mountain Traffic Circle.
Trooper arrived at the scene to find 29-year-old Pierre Brooks, of the Bronx, lying unconscious.
He had been thrown from the vehicle and ended up 40 feet down an embankment.
Brooks was rushed to Westchester Medical, where he succumbed to his injuries.
