A Bronx man has been sentenced to 83 years to life in prison for the murder of two men and the attempted murder of another man in 2019.
The Bronx district attorney says Dane Richardson, 40, was found guilty of murder, manslaughter, attempted murder and criminal possession of a controlled substance.
Police say Richardson walked up to two brothers outside of the Soundview Houses and shot one in the arm and the other in the back, killing one of them.
Richardson was also involved in the fatal shooting of a Nestor Ventura, 26, outside of a building on Commonwealth Avenue months earlier.
