A Bronx mother is pleading for the safe return of her 13-year-old daughter who was last seen two weeks ago.
Millandely Valle has not returned home after heading out to school on May 12.
Valle's mother, who did not want to be identified, told News 12 she had plans Saturday to celebrate her birthday with a dinner along with her daughter.
"I'm waiting for you. I'm not mad, my love. Talk to me. Come back home," she said in Spanish.
Valle just turned 13 in March and migrated to New York at a young age from Honduras.
Her mother said she was last seen in Brooklyn but has no idea how she even got there.
"The school called me and told me that she didn't go to school for about four days," her mother said.
She added that Valle returned home those three days as if she was coming home from school but did not come back on the fourth day. That was the day Valle's mother reached out to the police for help.
Valle's friends said she posted disturbing pictures on her Instagram story, raising concerns that she may be in danger.
The police urge anyone who has seen Valle to give them a call immediately.
