The mother of a boy who was fatally shot in Fordham last year says she is still seeking justice.
Haja Kaira, the mother of Saikou Koma, was inside the Bronx Hall of Justice where she saw Samson Walston, the second person accused of killing her son back in October.
The judge moved the hearing for Walston to June 10.
The Bronx District Attorney's Office told News 12 that it's because the judge did not agree with how law enforcement presented their case involving testimony from police.
Walston was then was escorted out, and Kaira walked out of the courtroom soon after with tears.
She told News 12 she feels justice is not being served.
"It's like my son's life is not valued to the judge or lawmakers. I think they have to value the dead's life. The people who killed him, they're free out there walking," Kaira said.
The first accused killer, Stephen Mendez, was released last week because of the same technicality.
Walston will still be held, and the prosecution has 45 days to present their case again.
