A Bronx pharmacy intern has administered countless COVID-19 vaccines at the Fort Washington armory, including one to her parents.
Maliha Tasbassum says she has been giving vaccines for months and was surprised when her parents ended up at her booth.
Tasbassum said vaccinating her parents, who she lives with in the Bronx, was a huge relief.
Her father posted about the experience on social media, which Maliha says inspired her extended family and friends to be less hesitant to get the COVID-19 vaccine.
