The Ferragosto Festival is back in full swing in the Bronx, bringing a taste of Italy right to our backyard.
The Belmont Business Improvement District was joined by Mayor Eric Adams and Bronx Borough President Vanessa Gibson ahead of the Festival’s start on Sunday.
This year will mark the 25th anniversary of the festival. The celebration dates back to 18 B.C., when Emperor Augustus declared the month of August a festive celebration in his honor.
Elected officials also highlighted the Belmont Business Improvement District's partnership with the Zidian Group and said revenue collected from their products have helped local businesses along Arther Avenue continue to thrive.
