A Bronx teacher says his COVID-19 vaccine appointment has been canceled as the city struggles with its supply.
Reinis Visners says right before he went to get the vaccine, his appointment was canceled.
He was told to wait another week. Visners was supposed to get his first dose at the South Bronx Educational Campus.
In an email he showed News 12, it said due to a shortage of supply they were rescheduling his appointment.
The city and state say they're working to get teachers vaccinated.
Visners says some staff members at his school already got the vaccine. He hopes his appointment isn't postponed again.
