More than 100 community activists rallied against violence in the Bronx Saturday. Members of the Bronx Youth Empowerment Program marched from East Gun Hill Road to the Eastchester Community Center. Members say violence in the borough is getting worse every day and will continue that way unless people reach out to the youth. The rally was sponsored by the 49th precinct, where 16-year-old Shacka Walcott was shot in a Burger King parking lot on Boston Road. One member says they hope standing up and speaking out will put a silence to the violence. p>
