When the pandemic hit, Zumba instructor Anthony Califano didn't let COVID-19 stop him from teaching fitness.
He began to hold his popular workout classes virtually last year, he was back in person and joined by dozens of Bronx residents on Sunday for a dance session at Orchard Beach.
"I give them that outlet to forget about their worries or whatever issues they may be going through, especially this year. It was so tough for everyone," he said.
Califano teaches Zumba multiple times a week, both in person and online.
