A Brooklyn Assemblywoman was arraigned Monday on bribery and official misconduct charges. Diane Gordon (D-Brooklyn) was caught on videotape demanding that a developer build her a $500,000 dream home in exchange for using her influence to steer a city-owned vacant lot into his hands, authorities said. Gordon's lawyer, however, says she backed out of the deal before any agreements were finalized and therefore never broke any laws. Gordon, 57, was released on $35,000 bail and is due back in court in November. If convicted, she could face up to 15 years behind bars.
