Gov. Andrew Cuomo has announced that the Hugh L. Carey Tunnel, formerly known as the Brooklyn-Battery Tunnel, will reopen to all non-truck traffic this Monday at 6 a.m.

One tube was reopened to buses on Nov. 12 and cars on Nov. 13. Use of that tube was limited to peak morning and afternoon drive times. The tunnel was flooded with seawater during Hurricane Sandy, causing widespread damage to the structure's electrical, surveillance and ventilation systems.

All trucks are banned until further notice.
