Local residents are getting ready for a nor'easter that is expected to sweep through the area Thursday night, bringing heavy rain and strong winds.
Boat captains and fishermen at Gateway Marina say they have been through bad storms before, but they are still concerned about the safety of their vessels.
"In the middle of the winter, some of the docks broke free and the boats were floating around with the docks tied to [them]," recalls boat captain Kevin Seagriff.
