The Brooklyn Bridge Park is one step closer to reality Wednesday. The directors of the Brooklyn Bridge Park Development Corporation voted Wednesday to approve the plan, which includes a renowned waterfront park along the East River.The Public Authorities Control Board must switch the land over from the Port Authority to the Empire State Development Corporation before construction can begin.
