Brooklyn Bridge Park will soon get a permanent swimming pool where its tennis court now stands near Pier 1, officials say.
By summer 2020, the permanent pool will replace the park's popular pop-up pool, which will close at the end of this summer.
It'll come with a view of the Manhattan skyline and a price tag of up to $15 million.
The park itself will foot about a third of the bill, and the rest of the funding is coming from both public and private fundraisers.
Community meetings on the pool's design and features will begin this year.
