The Brooklyn Chamber of Commerce hosted the 18th annual Building Brooklyn Awards on Wednesday.
The event recognizes recently completed construction or renovations projects in the borough. This year, 11 buildings were honored, and awards were given to people who have contributed toward Brooklyn's business and economic climate.
The buildings on this year's list are located in neighborhoods like Bensonhurst, Greenpoint, Williamsburg, Bedford-Stuyvesant, Brooklyn Heights, Boerum Hill, Dyker Heights and more.
"The Building Brooklyn Awards represent the very best of Brooklyn's design and build community and a way to recognize the innovative and impactful work which adds to the quality of life for all Brooklynites," Chamber of Commerce President Rick Russo said in a statement.
The awards were presented at a dinner reception.
