A Brooklyn councilman has discovered a way to bring commerce services directly to small businesses throughout the borough.
The Brooklyn Chamber of Commerce has unveiled its mobile van, which will be able to visit businesses that are unable to visit its offices in Downtown Brooklyn.
Councilman Robert Cornegy (D) says it is meeting the needs of what businesses had asked for.
The van will offer business owners help with licensing, insurance and other needs. It will be used primarily in communities that do not have an organized business improvement district.
