Students at Williamsburg Charter High School were visited by Rhonda Ross, daughter of the iconic singer Diana Ross, who was on a mission to inspire.
“So, their voice matters right but the voice inside their own head might matter more than anything, what they are saying to themselves, their self-talk,” said Ross.
The discussion aims to open doors for students and serve as a reminder that their lives are just beginning.
"A lot of people want to blend in they don't want to shine out have the loudest voice and sometimes that messes up your future life,” said high school senior Natalia Williams. “I want everybody to be comfortable in their own voice so they don't feel shy about saying how they really feel."
Faculty at Williamsburg Charter High School say they’re excited for students to find the tools to unlock their full potential and work with others to do so.
