A crowd showed up at the Brooklyn Children's Museum in Crown Heights, excited to celebrate the museum's Indigenous Peoples Day.
The event showcased Native American culture.
The museum curated a day of culture through live performances, with special guest Ty Defoe, presenting various themes that many have been thinking about throughout the pandemic.
Such themes included community, learning, openness to others, inclusivity and acceptance of all different kinds of people.
The event was also more than just a cultural experience for the families who attended, as the museum opened its doors for the first time in months.
