A Brooklyn church that is more accepting of gay congregants is trying to expand inclusion on a broader scale.
Park Slope United Methodist Church not only welcomes LGBTQ members, it supports them.
Rev. Herbert Miller, of the church, is part of a growing group of pastors who are trying to change the way the church relates to gay members.
He says it is easy to remove homophobic references in the bible, but the church must begin the process of inclusion.
Miller says it is time to look forward and forget the past.
