Brooklyn College is offering a course on COVID-19.
The non-prerequisite course will provide students with a deeper understanding of the impacts of the global health crisis.
The course will feature different professors every week, each who are experts in topics like the history of pandemics, the spread and control of the virus, and how vaccines are made to be effective.
Sensei Beverly Bradley, a senior in the health and nutritional sciences program at Brooklyn College says she is excited for the course.
"Now I can see how all of it can be utilized and how it comes into play in helping me understand. The course will also help me spread the word to my community, and to help them understand what is going on with COVID-19," she says.
