A Brooklyn company is offering freelancers and startups a professional work environment at an affordable price.
Brooklyn Creative League opened a coworking space in Gowanus five years ago. The group converted an old sweater factory into loft office space that can be rented on a daily or monthly basis.
The prices range from $200 to $1,700 a month. Renters also have access to free internet, copiers, scanners and shipping systems.
There are currently 150 organizations working at the Gowanus facility. Brooklyn Creative League is planning on opening a second location in Bed-Stuy.
