The Brooklyn district attorney announced an indictment Wednesday of 18 alleged gang members.
The group is said to be responsible for a series of retaliatory shootings over a four-year period that left two dead and multiple people injured, including eight innocent bystanders.
District Attorney Eric Gonzalez made the announcement at his office in Downtown Brooklyn next to a table displaying the weapons recovered during the multi-year investigation he said started in 2021.
The District Attorney's Violent Criminal Enterprises Bureau and the NYPD's Gun Violence Suppressions Division investigated the rival shootings between Blood gangs operating on the border of Crown Heights and Bedford-Stuyvesant.
Gonzalez said the shootings were carried out by teens as young as 14 years old.
