A Brooklyn entrepreneur may have people thinking twice before calling pigs a filthy animal.
Joe Tangney, of Filthy Pig Soap, has his soap products made from pig lard he gets from farms in Virginia and upstate New York. Tangney then packages and ships out his products, which smell of pineapple, lime and ginger.
He hopes to expand the Filthy Pig brand to hand creams and pomade.
