A Brooklyn family is searching for a place to live after a fire gutted their home earlier this month.
The Vogelsohn family lost their home on East 78th Street and have been struggling to find a new place to live. The family's three dogs alerted them of the fire, but they say no one will rent to them because of their pets.
"It's really heart-wrenching that we're gonna have to leave the neighborhood that we love because we cannot find housing until our house is rebuilt," says Nelida Vogelsohn.
The family of four is currently living in a friend's basement. They say they want to stay together and hope to find help soon.
