A Brooklyn father is stripping away the stigma of suffering as a male domestic violence victim by telling his story.
Michael Tucker says his son physically abused him. Tucker says he was scared to ask for help because he was worried he would be seen as weak. Tucker has created the ?Music vs. Violence: From Victim to Victory? documentary to combat the growing problem of men suffering in silence. Tucker is also creating a soundtrack and plans to hold a concert to accompany the documentary. He believes music can play a vital role in stopping the abuse.
Tucker hopes to have his documentary shown at public schools to educate children.
