A special ceremony was held Tuesday to dedicate a new hospital synagogue in Brooklyn. 
Maimonides Medical Center unveiled the Herman Family Synagogue in Borough Park. 
Trustee Peter Rebenwurzel and his wife, Debby, donated the money to revamp the place of worship in honor of Holocaust survivors. 
The synagogue is named after Debby Rebenwurzel's parents, Alexander and Charlotte Herman.
