Brooklyn was host to the city's first wedding expo this weekend, designed especially for the lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender (LGBT) community.
Michael Burke, of the Brooklyn Pride Center, says the event aims to marry the local business community with same-sex couples who are heading to the alter. Visitors were able to browse everything from wedding dresses, caterers and table settings, to DJ services and photographers.
Organizers say the response was so overwhelmingly positive that they can't wait to plan it again next year.
