Police are looking for robbers who broke into a Fulton Street jewelry store Monday through the roof.
According to the owner of Uri's Gallery Jewelers in the Fulton Mall shopping strip, the store alarm went off sometime between 2 a.m. and 2:30 a.m. Management says the thief, or thieves, made off with an undisclosed amount of jewelry.
A nearby jewelry store was burglarized twice in the same way and an area linen store was also burglarized within months of the latest incident.
Business owners say they want to see more police on the streets in the overnight hours.Police do not have any suspects and are investigating all of the cases.
