For decades, a Brooklyn man has been building up his classic car collection.
"The first car that I ever got when I was a youngster was this 1936 Chevrolet from my grandmother," says Lenny Shiller, of Gowanus. "That got this whole thing rolling."
Shiller's collection of 64 vehicles ranges from an early 1912 Metz to a firetruck that was used in Bloomingfield, New Jersey during the 1950s.
He buys most of the cars on a budget and says he does work himself to bring them up to snuff.
"Sinatra was quoted as saying, 'He who dies with the most toys wins,'" Shiller says. "So I guess I'll be up there."
